I thought I posted this before by I cannot find it. Would like to hear from former Bethelites regarding any financial corruption at HQ, particularly in the Purchasing Dept....kick-back, money under the table, any type of dirty dealing that would be a misuse of their responsibility to protect the voluntary contributions of the sheep.
Have heard rumors for years from the San Diego area about a brother who has made a fortune selling paper products to the Society. That he used to be the head of purchasing at Bethel and so how things were done, and decided to get his. He works for Kent Landsperg, which is a distributor and not a manufacturer. It makes no sense. Except to him, of course. He built the new "Beth Sarim" in SD and all the big shots from Bethel stay with him when in SD. I hope it is not true and would welcome proof, but it would not surprise me. It is sickening. I know a "brother", elder that worked in purchasing at Bethel and he is undoubtedly one of the biggest thieves and liars that I know. And he used to work with this corrupt brother both and Bethel and the world. Thanks for any input. And sorry if I have posted this as a repeat. I can't find my post from last night.
