    "Consolation" September 1945 contains the most contrary quote you can imagine: " When we lose our life because we refuse inoculations, that does not bear witness as a justification of Jehovah's name. God never issued regulations which prohibit the use of drugs, inoculations or blood transfusions. It is an invention of people, who, like the Pharisees, leave Jehovah's mercy and love aside ."

    I can't find the quote in the issue for 26 Sept.

    It is supposedly on page 29. It isn't in this one.

    TD is correct. The quotation above is actually a translation from a Dutch issue of Vertroosting (Consolation). I have a copy of the article in my library. The Dutch reads this way:

    “Wanneer wij ons leven verliezen, doordat wij weigeren, inspuitingen te laten maken, dient zulks niet tot een getuigenis ter rechtvaardiging van Jehova's Naam. God heft nooit bepalingen uitgevaardigd die het gebruik van inedicijnen, inspuitingen of bloedtransfusie verbiedt. Het is een ultvinding van menschen, die gelijk de Farizeen Jehova's barmhartigheid laten.”--(Vertroosting, September 1945 p. 29)
