Some highlights. First, laying the groundwork for return visits. They ask why it's so important to return promptly. I say that it's because, if you wait too long, the moon will move a few signs out of line. They are going to bash Satan for tarnishing your conscience, while it is in fact Jehovah and his filthy angels doing that work. That is the theme of the Big Boasting Session. Safeguarding your mind is the theme for the Great Boasting Sessions--can't they be more original? Proper meditation means power meditation, not meditating on the LIE-ble. I need to safeguard my mind from Jehovah and his filthy angels--and I need Satan and His Demons to bring it more in line with where it should be, not to live in a bubble of filthy angels. I would rather bind Jehovah than let him corrupt my thinking.
The big news? They are going to adjust the midweek boasting session. The book study part will increase to 30 minutes, while they are going to steal it from the Circus Meeting. No more announcement parts. With information like this to waste time, they wonder why people miss meetings so much.

K M "Safeguard Your Conscience",,Many years back the Society went to great lengths to explain that our conscinces although trained by the same Scriptures, were still individual, and personal choices such as entertainment, dress and family matters were individual and not to be criticized by others.........Fast forward to the 21st century, Are parents able make personal choices of toys for their children? or are they forced by the dvd of Caleb and Sparlock to take the Society's stand - or be seen as backsliders?
It seems now that "Big Brother" wants to regulate everything.
"Safeguard your Mind"....sounds scary now, shades of Orwell's "thoughtcrime" if we do not let our thinking be molded by them......
BTW.. I can remember reading that letter of 1989 again when I became a Secretary. At that time I determined that it was wrong to impede the course of a criminal investigation and if ever the Police wanted any congregation record in my possession, they could have it..

Again, 'no increases' in U.S. 'Highlights.' Just the islands.
I don't know if it was ever mentioned how many Aux. Pios. were last year in U.S. But their number showed an average of 28 pubs. per cong. which would be about 33% of pubs on avg. I somehow think the avg. was higher last year.
