The society is explaining nothing in that DVD regarding that image (big "Star-Spangled Banner").
Is this for familiarizing JWs with that shocking image?

Thanks for posting the article link! I remember in the Watchtower that showed the Advertise! speech, they cut out the flags. It's nice to see they didn't do the same thing in the video.
