I read his stuff while I was still in (but starting to look out).

His work had an intellectual finish that is sorely lacking in anything the Watchtower puts out.

I have a recording from when he debated a Trinitarian in Florida (James White), it's on a cassette somewhere. At the time, I was in his camp.

I ordered a book from his website once and I not only never got it, I never even received a refund--despite several emails that were ignored.

I liked knowing Greg and his family, hope they are doing well.

I don't agree with hardly any of Greg's conclusions, but I owe him adebt, it was his site I stumbled upon first of all when my exit really began, with my deciding that the 1914 teachings were just not in the Bible.

I was so pleased to find a JW (as he was at the time) that thought as I did, and said so. It was a short step from Greg's site to here, for which I am for ever grateful.

Here in the U.K we will have to wait till the interview is posted on the 6 Screens site to listen , I shall be interested to hear what he has to say, and where he is at now.

i saw the debate with White, it was pretty embarassing. its impossible to debate as a JW because you are forced to defend the indefensible or else.

I thought it might be interesting, but then I look at the Elihu site and he's every bit as wacky as the Dubs. I may call in but if he still supports some JW doctrines it's going to be hard to respect his view regardless of how many big words he knows. Fred Franz could spin a sentence, too, but he was one of the biggest frikken loons of the 20th century.

So far the highlight of the pre-show is Rick stating his belief that the Watchtower is circling the wagons preparing to get out of Dodge and go out of business.

I am sure we will get a lot of fair and balanced reporting this evening.

Another bit of news...Shiela will host the overnight version of the show for those who want to call in and chat with other ex-JWs later.
