I was sent this talk by a brother awhile back...... it is from the Trinidad Zone (2010)

William Malenfant (VP of WT Penn)

All in all it ain't a 'bad' talk...... lots of Jesus until all of a sudden Malenfant goes into high-creature worship of GB toward the end.

Like almost all speakers in the WTS (from lowly TMS 9 year old boy to GB) he too is supremely better than Tony Morris......

Malenfant? I seem to remember a Malenfant bigwig giving talks at DCs as a kid. Does he speak Spanish?

My old PO used to have a major hard on for Malenfant. Apparently he met him back in the late 70s or early 80s and maybe went out to field service with him or something. It's been a while. Anyhow, his eyes would light up and he'd talk about him as if he were royalty.

I want to say there were/are two bigwig Malenfant brothers, but I might be getting my stories mixed up.

Yeah. It was like there were several of them. Nepotism. I may be misremembering though.

    Malenfant?

Isn't that French for "Bad Baby"?

I know him personally, as he was my 'Table Head' in the 90 Sands Dining Room for more than a year. He is one of the 'Given Ones'.

On a personal note, he's a wonderful human being with a very warm personality. He's not one of the Pharisees, nor does he toot his own horn.

He and his wife were once missionaries in Moroocco.

Hey! I think you've jogged my memory. I seem to recall Morocco missionaries at a DC back when I was 21 or so. My wife and I interviewed with them at the lunch break "Bethel meeting." We were wanting to go but had unpaid debts that needed settling. Boy am I glad I never went through with it!
