Have quickly been introduced to the JWs when my formerly inactive wife has started a bible study. Was directed to this site by Towerwatch and it is really helping me not only learn about the organization, but also providing me encouragement and support as needed. I will never become a JW and I hold my faith and relationship with Jesus very dearly, but I also do not believe that Christianity is the only true religion (so you could say I am somewhat confused). I continue to come here to get information to help in my understanding the beliefs of the jws and to be able to plant some doubt in my wife's mind to at least have her make an educated decision, rather than having her decision directed by the society. Shall continue to add to this profile over time, I do appreciate any information that you can provide me and this forum has helped me more than any of you could realize!

AudeSapere
This is my 2nd JWD account. The first is: Aude_Sapere. (Lost my password when I moved in 2006)........................ Brought into the org by my parents when I was 9. Full-Time preacher in my 20's while supporting myself with full-time employment. Left the org as a 'walk-away believer' in my early 30's. Learned the truth about 'The Truth' in my mid-40's. Happy I'm out now.

Virgochik
I was born in, an only child of an elder and elderette. I never really believed it was the truth, and questioned (argued) a lot. I was considered somewhat rebellious, because at first, I asked too many questions, then I just quit asking and became quiet and occasionally sullen. I became very sick when I was a teen, from the stress of trying to be perfect, and a good example. I moved out, and quit attending meetings.I eventually moved out of state and got married. I still have issues, and I find much comfort in the board. my folks are still in, so I like to see what's going on in the org, out of concern for them.
