“Faded” around 2001 and am happily free and grateful I listened to my instincts..So glad the JW religion has been exposed along with other religions on TV shows like A&E: Cults and Extreme Belief.

I'm like a chocoholic, but for booze. and music. my name is Tanya. I grew up in one of the outcast families in the Belvidere, IL congregation. I never believed the hype, which is why I never got baptized. I'm quite proud of having dodged that particular bullet. I really, really enjoy being a pagan heathen, and growing up ostracized by both worlds helped me develop some character. In fact, I've got character pouring out my f@%king ears now. and I have amazing but true stories to tell people about growing up in a cult. Yep. I'm vulgar. I'm crass. I use profane language when it's necessary. I'm pro-choice. I'm pro-environment. I worship beauty. I worship nature. I worship the spark of divinity within us all. I vote. I'm gay-friendly. I used to fall in love too easily, but thankfully now I'm married. I'm human, and I'm not perfect, and I don't expect anyone else to be. But I hate me some smug hypocrites worse than anything. http//:www.livejournal.com/users/the_lucky_nun/
