Tameria2001
My mother became a JW when my older sister passed away, she was five and a half. Mom fell for the lie that she would be reunited with her baby girl in the fall of 1975. For some odd reason, I too once believed in the JWs as well. But dues to life basically biting me in the backside I ended up reevaluating my life. This ended up causing me to really dig into the truth of the matter and discovered that the JWs are nothing but a very harmful hoax. I dissociated myself from the JWs back in 2001. I was fortunate enough that my husband also left it at the same time as I did.

It was a rude awakening in June of 2013, it has taken me almost 2 years to mentally break away from my indoctrination. Getting born into this belief system is not easy to untangle. Nevertheless, I am here to learn and help others in their journey as well.
