  quite a while ago an older sister stopped by my door, and stupid me, i let her know my life story in a nutshell.

  The elder really didn't express his true belief. He made use of the art of "theocratic warfare". You pressed him for an answer. Under pressure he gave you an answer ... in order to confuse you. Actually, he may or may not know the main reason for which the WTS became an NGO ... and I'm not so sure that people who post here really understand the reason for it either. If you think that you do, then I'd like to hear from you here in this thread.

  Do you have any evidence at all that people could live forever simply by eating the right food?

  Just that it seems quite reasonable. People who eat properly generally fair better health-wise. We can eat ourselves into an early grave by eating too much of something that simply tastes good

  Jack Lalane eats perfect. He has been dying since the day he was born and will continue to do so till he's dead. Perfect food has nothing to do with mans aging. I can't believe you see it this way Chism.

  It's quite obvious that you haven't been keeping up with all that I've said in this thread. You replied to a matter before you'd heard all of what had been said. That ain't too smart, Gumby. One would think, that since you are the one that authored this thread, that you'd have kept abreast of its contents. I'm not going to hold your hand and walk you through all the things you missed. If you're interested enough, you'll go to the trouble to look back over my comments.

  Something else I wanted to bring to your attention, since you're the one that authored this thread.

  Did you notice how downright particular that Elsewhere's little dog is? The only guys here that he wants to "hump" are Farkel and AlanF. Something strange about that, don't you think. Shamus also wants some of the action but for some reason the little doggie only wants to "do" Farkel and AlanF. I wonder what they've got that Shamus doesn't have? Reckon it might have something to do with some sort of odor emanating from off the lower part of their pants? If not that, then the only other reason I can think of is .... Oh, I guess I better not go there. LOL

  How could Adam have "life" , if he hadn't eaten from the Tree of Life which you said he needed to eat from to keep from dying?

  LOL, Gumby, you missed the posts that dealt with that very point. If you go back and check those posts you fast-forwarded over you'll note I explained that Adam had been eating the fruit from the "tree of life" all along. He had permission from God to eat from "every" tree of the garden, except the "tree of knowledge".

  some christians, especially pacifists or conscientious objectors feel it is inappropriate for christians to fight in war.

  they, like the watchtower, will respond that warriors like king david were israelites who fought for god's nation, and this makes them different ... well ... not so fast oh brain-dead idiots filled with nonsense, and fully unable to think clearly.

  oh hypocrites who fail to cite things in the bible that utterly demolish your pet theories.. first, the bible teaches that god is always the same forever.

  i realize that the subject that i've chosen here can indeed arouse the emotions, but i believe that most here have control of their emotions and can therefore be reasonable while discussing this topic.

  some of you believe in god and the bible, and some of you don't; but, whatever your station in life is i'm sure that you won't mind expressing your personal opinion.
