Panic Attacks
by rebel ini don't know if this subject has been touched on before - i didn't know what section to put it under.. i have to go to the meeting this sunday - basically emotional blackmail by my husband (long story).
i have suffered from panic attacks in the past.
when i don't go to the meetings, and my family do, i get very panicky and breathless.

Time To Make The JC's Accountable?
by Englishman inreading jst2laws account of his and joy's execrable treatment by his one-time friends, has really brought it home to me that the disfellowshippers need their knuckles rapped - and hard, too.. when someone becomes disillusioned with their religion, they are in a very vulnerable and emotional state for quite a while.
for that same religion then to, not only cast them out, but insist that their friends and families should do the same, is criminal to say the least.. yet, what accountability do these disfellowshippers have to face?
i'll tell you - absolutely none!

Michael Jackson's Mother
by ExpandedMind ingood morning!
this past week, on fox, there was another documentary about mj.
after seeing some advertisements about the presentation that indicated that mjs mother would be on the program, i was interested in seeing what comments, if any, she would make about mj.

What is your worst fear?
by Scully ina recent death in my family triggered my worst fear - as irrational as it may sound - into a very real possibility.. let me explain: as a global culture, we simply accept that when someone dies, those who care about them will want to gather and offer a meaningful tribute to the person and those who survive them.
with regard to my recently deceased family member - her own children decided against holding a memorial service for her surviving family, which included two children and their respective spouses, eight grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
yes, we are spread out over 2000 miles.

How much do JW's RESPECT their kids?
by anti-absolutism ini strongly believe that it is very difficult to be a good parent in the borg!!
if you think about it, the parents are basically trained to look at their kids as if they are lesser human beings than them..... you know the old head of the house crap!!.
i know from my personal experience, i was df'd in 1992, but i never made the definite decision to never go back until 1997. .
