  Any behavior you regret due to JW teaching

  does anyone wish they could make amends for mistakes made as a jw?

  i tried very hard to follow the teachings very closely, right down to shunning some of my relatives who were df'd.

  i also think i was very judgemental and hard on others..

  This happened way back when I was in elementary school. I think I was in Grade one. It was Valentine's day, and I ended up with a big pile of Valentines on my desk, although I didn't hand any out. So, I put them all in a shopping bag and brought them home to dispose of. My mother gave me hell for accepting them and bringing them home.

  The next year, the same thing happened. I recieved a truckload of Valentines on my desk. Except this time, I threw them all into the classroom's trash can. I really can't help but wonder how bad I made the other kids feel by doing that. My mother was very proud of me for 'giving a good witness' to the other children in my class.

  What to do with left over memorial emblems

  we have an italian cong that shares the hall with 2 english congs.

  an elder from the italian cong makes the wine & bread every year for quite a few of the congs in melbourne.. after the last memorial is held in our hall, the wine is taken back to this elders house where certain privileged ones are invited back for some socialising and to drink a very nice drop of red wine!

  as well as the usual assortment of cheese platters and crunchy bread.. we were privileged enough to be invited back a few years ago, but the whole idea didnt seem to sit well with me, so we took a raincheck and never got invited back again.

  Yes, many times. Me and a now ex-friend used to do it a lot and I have them all recorded on cassettes. Haven't listened to them in years, mainly because listening to his voice now puts me in a bad mood. Perhaps in 10 or 20 years I'll be able to listen to them again.

  The Three Stages of Meeting Attendance Freedom

  during my exit from the jws, i went through three stages of being free from the meetings.

  stage 1: going to the meetings, but disliking it.. stage 2: stopped going to the meetings, but remembered every day that i was supposed to be going to the meeting.. stage 3: "oh yeah!

  I stopped the book study about 15 years. Couldn't re-read and repeat the REVELATION BOOK for the 400th time!
  
  Stopped the Ministry School about 5 years ago. Couldn't take the sales and book selling meeting any longer!

  I think it's funny when you have consistent sporatic meeting attendance, and nobody bothers to ask you why. They just know that you're "weak in the troof" and leave it at that.

  Mizram is also a semitic word to name Egypt and we know that ancient Egypt was inhabited by black people.
  Canaan which designates Palestine, was an area inhabited by black people.
