Never having been, and never will be, a part of "the truth" (I've been an atheist/humanist since the age of about 12), I came here because my (now ex)girlfriend is a former JW who is now in the process of going back to the dark side of the tower..... I've found this site excellent in helping me research the WT's past, it's false prophecies, child abuse scandal, UN involvement, disfellowshipping policy etc. I can't believe that they've managed to get away with it for so long! Here's hoping that the Watchtower starts to crumble very soon and the six million or so poor souls kept under it's control will one day see the light.
