  The lie?

  I guess if you want to keep it down to basics, no personal opinions permitted, WMD's in Iraq is the lie, since they weren't found and you cannot substantiate your claims. In a court of law, your case would be thrown out for lack of proof. You have some circumstantial evidence but not enough to prove beyond reasonable doubt that they existed and were in Iraq at the time of your invasion.

  You can answer, "We will find Them".......but that is only an opinion, it doesn't prove they exist.

  So in essence, and from a legal standpoint, your actions are likened to filing a false report resulting in an illegal search warrant.

  Yes, so far, your president has lied.

  It's all about ownership. The moon is owned by the US, since they've got a flag there. The first ones to plant their flag on Mars will own it and have the right to exploit it's resources. Other nations will have to pay rent for it's use....toll booths and rest areas come to mind, while they try to reach the moons of Jupiter to plant their own flags.

  I think it's very possible but I don't believe we should put lifes in jeopardy and rush it. Let the robots crash and burn before we send a human being.

  I certainly hope so. You have 130,000 roaming Iraq compared to a handful for the UN, not mentioning the fact that no one is stopping you from searching or trying to divert your attention. But if you take it man for man, year for year (per man hours)...you're not doing much better in finding those weapons are you? So why accuse the UN inspectors of doing a bad job. They didn't have free access to the country as you do.

  What amazes me also, is that Powell, when facing the UN security counsel, seemed to know exactly where those weapons were. According to him, if the US was given a chance they would find those weapons in a snap. So what happened to all that intelligence? Why haven't you found them?

  Like I said, per man hours, you're lagging behind the UN in effectiveness in locating them.

  Of course they will find WMD in Iraq, just like they would probably find some in almost every country on the planet or find programs to develop them.

  The question is, did Saddam have enough to pose a threat to the US. That was the basis for going to war. So far the US has been unable to prove that he did have enough to pose a threat.

  All the 80's metal definitely!

  Absolutely, most of it was original, and well....heavy.

  This new stuff is just noise to me. Or maybe I'm just getting old.

  LOL.....ya, getting old might not help. Actually, the music ain't that bad, it's the singers I can't stand....what the hell are they mad about.

  A few bands I used to listen to in the eighties apart from the obvious, Anvil, Micheal Schenker Group, Pinheads, Accept. The first albums of Van Halen and Def Leppard had excellent guitar. Actually anything with good guitar will catch my ear, as long as the singer makes sense.

  So then it all depends on who the bad guy is.

  This is the way I see it. The US invades Iraq primarily cause it's oil supply is in jeopardy, and it's of national interest to secure some oil since the economy could falter. This was made easy for the US since Saddam was a bad guy. However, because of your motives, I'm not sure how to classify you guys, good or bad.

  Of course you don't want anyone to accuse you of doing it for oil, it would almost equate you guys acting like hitler. But to me, it's still what you did, I don't buy your humanitarian twist to justify it.
