They are indeed two.
Actually, they sign their articles with "Elaia Luchnia", which is a straight reference to the "two witnesses" of Revelation.
I can't say if they do this metaphorically or they think they fulfill that role.

have any been keeping up with anointedjw.coms gentle efforts to help the governing body, and all the rest of jehovahs witnesses, come to realize that there is just one hope for all christians the heavenly hope.
it will be very interesting to see how effective their efforts will have been at the up-coming memorial of christs death.
anointed.com is expecting that the number of those who will partake of the emblems may double from 12,000 to 24,000. .

I began to be suspicious when I've read their article "The Little Known Twelve". I wondered where they have gotten that information from. It didn't take me too long to realize it came straight from the Book of Urantia. I've sent them an email and asked them directly, and they confirmed it. Since this book was produced in modern times by means spiritualistic channeling, I decided I didn't want to have anything to do with that. In any case, I respect their views of a "one hope" (heavenly, that is) for all christians. However, I am disturbed by their insidious manners who apparently are very respectful and obedient to the Governing Body, while in fact it's obvious that they're attempting to carve out a scism within the Jehovah's Witnesses.

I had the same experience as you did with anointedjw.org
Much of their explanation of the "one hope" makes a lot of sense, but then .... the Urantia Book connection and their unwillingless to yield when they were confronted about the spiritistic nature of its origins, even to the point of telling me to be careful not to disown something that could have been produced by the Holy Spirit, did the work for me. I've lost my interest in them. Too bad, because they really make some good points. And then they ruin everything. Oh well.

http://ngm.nationalgeographic.com/2011/06/gobekli-tepe/mann-text/1 national geographic show tonight.
click on link for national geographic videos and articles on mankinds oldest temples...much older than watchtowers date for a flood and adams creation.
why argue about a few years when wtbts chronology is off by thousands?.

today i just thought of this.
i had written a thread about the false teaching of the anointed being resurrected already.
anyway, the wt assumes the 24 elders in revelation are the 144,000, and the assumption is merely because both sit on thrones.

former jw timothy kline wrote an excellent article in 2002 that examines from a scriptural perspective the watchtower society's "two witnesses" requirement applicable to child abuse allegations (called "part 1" but there appears to be no further parts).
the article shows there are certainly alternative interpretations available to the watchtower society that would allow them to easily adjust this flawed aspect of their policy while still adhering to scriptural principles.
16 but if he does not listen, take along with you one or two more, in order that at the mouth of two or three witnesses every matter may be established.
What an excellent article. Thanks for bringing it up.

i would appreciate your help, please.. my son is approaching an age where he must ponder about going to university or not.
i know that the elders in my congregation will put some pressure into him as to not take it.
as a ms, i will also be put under pressure as to not give him any encouragement in that regards.
LOL, I apologize if I sounded bossey, Jgnat Thank you for the reference.
Perfect1, that part I already cover. What I want is to deconstruct the WTS argument. And you're right, I'm covering my ass as well. You would too if you were in my shoes. I went to college myself. What better example could I give?

amoung other things, it is being reported that the billionaire meeting at davos will discuss the possibility of extraterrestrial contact.. step by step.
inch by inch.
I once talked with someone who was pushing the "alien conspiracy theory" onto me, but at the same time rejected the existence of angels or demons, because that is "pure mythological fantasy" .... huh....say again?
