The first resurrection of the anointed who have died as already occurred.

What Martha mentioned about rising in the last days or actually being raised in the last days, was the resurrection to the earth. Her knowledge and understand was limited and vague, considering that the Sadducees were some of the teachers.

Paul's understanding was also limited because he was piecing things together too.

Stop relying on what people in the Bible said or wrote and understand the mechanics of the process itself.

It's simple. When Jesus became king, he resurrected the anointed who are already dead. Then during his time in the kingdom, as the anointed died they were instantly raised to heaven.
Then at the time of Rev 20:13 the resurrection to life on earth will begin and continue over the 1000 years and then what people will do matters.

There are no dead in heaven. Any in heaven are alive.

Here is how it works. Everyone who has died since Abel is in Sheol/hades/hell aka the grave. Since the time of Pentecost, Christians started getting anointed with holy spirit. When they died they were still dead. When Jesus became king, he cleansed the heavens as John 14:2-6 (prepared a place for the apostles) and Rev 12 says casting out Satan from the heavens. Then those dead in Christ were raised to heaven. Then after that time, any anointed left, when they died were instantly raised to heaven.

As for 2 Cor 5. It says "For we know that" Who is that 'we'? Paul and the Corinthians. Not you or anyone in this century.

vs 5 "Now the one who prepared us for this very thing is God, who gave us the spirit as a token of what is to come" That token is the holy spirit that they were anointed with. That 'us' is Paul and the Corinthians as they were anointed with the holy spirit.

vs 8 "But we are of good courage and would prefer to be absent from the body and to make our home with the Lord" So it is what they would prefer. That is not us today.

It was still a choice that he made. He could have chosen to get the transplant.

Remember that health decisions and issues are private. The congregation has no business knowing such things.

the july 2025 watchtower has a paragraph that claims that it was the superior power and wisdom of jehovah that guided the gb into allowing jws to grow beards.. the study article is ‘can you still learn from basic bible teachings?’ under the subheading ‘jehovah is the creator’ paragraph 7 states-.

What does celebrating wedding anniversaries and having baby showers have to do with celebrating birthdays? Wedding anniversaries are to celebrate an accomplishment as what celebrations are for. Celebrating the anniversary of one's birth is not an accomplishment. Especially for children.

It is just an excuse to have a party. And a foolish excuse when people spend hundreds of dollars on it.

No, that is not the gentile times. You didn't consider that Nathan told David that his offspring would sit on Jehovah's throne forever. But that ended when Jehoiakim lost that sovereignty. To not have that prophesy fail, Jehovah paused that for 2520 years. The Gentile times is from when it was paused until it stopped and Jesus became king because he didn't become king when he was on earth. It's that simple.

Exactly. If they can figure how to remove the no blood issue without this happening, then it will be gone.

So the problem is the critics preventing them to do that, not the GB itself.

You and they are missing something here. If transfusions are against God's law, what is the punishment for violating it? Has anyone who had a transfusion gotten leopresy? struck by lightning? Had the ground open and swallow them? Not that I've heard.

So there is no punishment. Those ones live and they die and are in hell/hades/sheol/grave like everyone else who has died. They will be resurrected just like everyone else will.

The living worry about the resurrection but the dead don't.

Memorial talk the SAME EVERY YEAR no anointed??

yeah so got invited this year and just thought what a waste of my time no one partakes in the wine or bread the talk has been the same for 20 years i would rather stay home.

No, Jesus did not instruct us to come together and do the bread and wine. He told the 11 apostles to keep doing that in remembrance of him. Because that is all that they had. Memories of him. They did not have the 4 biographies of jesus.

We on the other hand do not have memories of Jesus, but we have 4 biographies of him. So in remembrance of him, we don't do the bread and wine; we reread the 4 biographies of him.

The anointed don't go to heaven. Since it is post Jesus being king, as 1 Thess 4 says, when they die, they instantly get raised to heaven. Going to heaven is not the best thing possible. It is a job, not a resort.

They are kings and priests with Jesus.

What evidence is there that Jesus chose them then or any time since?

The evidence that Jesus chose them is that I eventually was chosen through them and I have the understanding that Jesus taught.

As far as it is known, nothing is wrong, except the allowing of beards.
