VERY interesting (April 1, 2002 WT, p.19)
by stevieb1 inthis statement is prety interesting.
it's taken from the very latest watchtower article (april 1, 2002) the final sentence of paragraph 14 reads:.
"if jehovah's organization knowingly endorsed false teachings, advice to read the bible would never be given to jehovah's witnesses and those to whom they preach.".

If Adam Had Not Sinned........
by stevieb1 inone of the ways the wt tries to get you into believing you are not going to heaven even if you d not have faith in christ is by saying that if adam had not sinned we would all be living in a paradise earth.
the publication "reasoning from the scriptures" states on page 162: "it wa not jehovah's original purpose for man someday to die.......death was to be punishment for disobedience, not the doorway to a better life in heaven.
obedience would have ben rewarded by continued life, eternal life, in the paradise that god had given to man.

Revelation 19:1:- Christians or Angels?
by stevieb1 inhi, i've been researching the society's explanation of the 144,000 and the great crowd in some consderable depth and i've reached the conclusion that both groups are one and the same, hence i digress from the watchtower's "two class" theology.
many sites dealing with witnessing to jw's often cite revelation 19:1 as proof that the "great crowd" is in heaven.
this verse reads: .

The Anointed Remnant:- Are They Really Anointed?
by stevieb1 inthis has been something that has been in the back of my mind for quite a while.
are those claiming to be of the anointed amongst jehovah's witnesses really going to heaven?
many jw' view them as being on a higher spiritual plain than the average jw and that they view the bible as a personal letter to them.

GLOBAL HALT ON KINGDOM HALL CONSTRUCTION?
by stevieb1 inon another post a number of days ago it was rumoured that the society were going to announce or had already intimated that due to financial constraints there was to be an immediate stop to all kingdom hall construction worldwide.
if this is true this would be big news!!
can anyone on here, especially jw insiders shed any further light on this matter or offer some sort of evidence that this is/is not so.
