  Do you let others mamke you feel guilty?

  i was curious over my reaction to something my brother said to me the other day.. he asked me if i had accepted christ.... i am not overly relgious since leaving the jw's and am just now starting to think there may possibly be something greater than us out there.

  but.... when he asked me that i felt like i had to make all kinds of excuses and apologize in a way because i don't even think about things like that and also think people that do are a little fanatic..(jmo).. then i got to thinking, why did i feel guilty when he asked me that?

  how can some poeple do that?

  Then I got to thinking, why did I feel guilty when he asked me that? How can some poeple do that? You know you are right and yet you find yourself making all kinds of excuses to them. Why couldn't I just say " Are you nuts?" or something like that.

  Anyway, what is it about some people that can turn you into a wimp?

  He is my big brother but still..I think he is losing it, especially after he told me that he thought Jesus may come in a spaceship...

  The woman is absolutely right to sue. Whether you agree with JW's or not about Christmas, it doesn't matter. They don't celebrate it or take part in the customs of the Xmas season. If her religious beliefs would not allow her to wear a santa hat, then they had no right to fire her.

  What if she were Muslim, or Jewish. If she were Muslim, would they require her to wear a star of David to commemorate Hannakuh (sp?)?

  THe store is absolutely wrong and the woman absolutely right in this case.

  But doesn't it go with the job of gift wrapping? Holidays are a big giftwrapping time..is she supposed to say" I can't wrap with holiday gift wrap..? People get babied way to much these days..it's a wonder stores can even stay in business. She never should have taken the job..it's like getting a job as a Santa Claus and then suing the store because they insist she wear a Santa suit and let kids tell her their christmas wishes..

  The "religious practice" prohibit her from celebrating not the bible?

  Doesn't it kind of go with the job? Gift wrapping is surely going to involve holidays eventually, I wonder if she sued if they made her use Christmas/Birthday gift wrapping?

  That's funny...

  And I have often thougth the same thing. I feel sorry for them when they feel they have to post so many pics of themselves..especially provocative ones.

  My car was also acting up, battery going dead....all dressed up and can't go is so very irritating and frustrating..I had AAA check it since I bought it new from them 2 years ago and they said my fan was draining it. It seems the fan is turning too slow and doesn't always shut off..
  So I take it to a mechanic and they don't have a clue what AAA is talking about..maybe they are just trying to make excuses for their cra**y battery I am thinking. They had to replace the first one they sold me because it had a dead cell, now the second one keeps going dead..frustrating..I can feel your frustration!
