Don't they categorize you as inactive if you do not turn in a field report for a certain number of months? Or some other quantifiable criteria?

https://graphtreon.com/creator/cedars suggests that his current income is $1721.00 USD
I'm not 100% sure, but I think Graphtreon makes a guess based on whatever info they can get from each creator's landing page, which is usually the number of patrons and the range of subscription options. I don't think it can sort those, nor can it know how many patrons pay more than is being requested. In other words, if Lloyd's highest tier was $20 and a wealthy supporter decided to contribute $2000 instead, Graphtreon would still show $1,721 per month instead of $3,721.

It's very similar, in that I think they both feel that it's better to go down fighting for that miniscule chance that things will work out, even though it's almost certain that they will go down with an utterly busted legacy. And if Johnson really believes that he'll make it through this and still be PM in 2030, then he's even more delusional than Evans.
As for Evans branching out, I don't think that will work well for him. He knows the WT organization and its past and history and belief systems from being in the organization for many years. All he knows about Mormons or Scientologists is whatever he reads or watches from others. He can't really do it justice, and his own indiscretions will continue to follow him wherever he goes if he decides to continue to pursue "professional activism." It's simple: he ruined his reputation. He can try to run from it, but that won't work. And he's not going to change his personality, which means he's going to anger people and they will make every effort to continue to rub his nose in his own personal messes. I think he's done, he just doesn't realize it yet.

If Christians practice Christianity, do Masons practice... Masonry?

I don't think it's effective to try to buy Patreon supporters. Unlike Twitter or YouTube, where you are buying a few clicks (which can be automated, if needed), a Patron is sending you money. I doubt Patreon wants to let people goose the numbers any more than Twitter or YT. And I think it's easier for them to prevent it.
It would be funny if they checked his donor list, and it was filled with $1 donors whose email addresses were all "lloyedevans" and a sequential number. But if it was possible to buy Patrons, I bet he would have done so instead of watching the number drop so much, so fast. At least some of his Patrons must have discovered Evans's personal issues when they wondered why his supporters were leaving in droves.

I would love for them to put labels on the two donation boxes: DONATE and DONATE MORE.

Sixteen years later and wow is life different
by BlackSwan of Memphis ini have no idea if this is the right place to post this.
if you're just leaving the witnesses or questioning and toying with the idea of leaving..... life goes by fast.
and either you rip the band aid off and deal with it or let it fester and eat you alive.

I'm in my early 50s, faded quietly over the approximate time period of 1997-to-2012, at which point I was far enough away that "leaving" was painless, as I was already long gone. I don't know if I would have had the fortitude to just rip the bandage off, but I was always a planner.

The concept seems odd to me. I think it always did. I am allowed to kill some lesser creature and spill its blood upon the ground, and God will forgive me my transgressions. We bypass this today because God offered to sacrifice a human body, one that he (or His son) temporarily inhabited before returning to Heaven. To a being older than time itself, this interlude was so short, it is difficult to imagine that He even noticed it.
What I wonder about it is... could Jesus have failed? Was there a possibility that he would sin, and thus condemn humanity to an eternity of sin, suffering, and death? What would happen to Jesus/God if this had happened? What would have happened to Satan? If Jesus's triumph was inevitable and Satan's defeat guaranteed, why was the sacrifice even necessary? Who did Jehovah feel He needed to impress?

Didn't Evans make an attempt at having translators work for free translating his first book?
Well, he certainly got his money's worth. Others have explained that he made life difficult for the translators, which is peak Lloyd Evans: find the cheapest way to do something, then make an effort to reduce the quality even more. Hmm, I'm not feeling too confident about the odds of his legal issues working out for him...
