  —colossians 1:15 from the nwt says it plain as day: “he is the image of the invisible god, the firstborn of all creation.” that’s not vague; it’s got a punch.

  “firstborn” and “creation” sit side by side, and in greek, that second word is “ktisis,” which means the physical stuff—trees, stars, you name it.

  " In the beginning was the Word , and the Word was with God and the Word was God . He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made ; without him nothing was made that has been made . In him was life , and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it "

  Verse 14

  " The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us . We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son , who came from the Father , full of grace and truth . "

  I understand that the WT inserts the Word ' other ' into the first part in order to change the meaning .

  i know most people here are totally out and that’s fine.. many these days are staying physically in for the social life and that is also fine.. i feel being fully mentally in is dangerous as it could be such a shock mentally if or should i say when the tower collapsed.. im sitting in the fence like so many others here.

  mentally agnostic if god exists or not and if the bible is his word.. when i talk to people who are physically and mentally still in i can tell that they so need it to be true.

  i’m worried for them when they wake up to the fact that they have been lied to 1914 wasn’t true 1975 wasn’t true 1999 wasn’t true and now here we are 2025 it’s all not true.

  KerryKing what Christian religions are you familiar with ? So often on here l read descriptions of religion that l just don't recognise.

  In order to love your neighbour as you love yourself firstly you have to love yourself . My religion tells me to be kind , to take care of the widows and orphans , to strive for justice and peace .

  NotFormer so like the people in the parables the Christian man / woman are not actually real people. They are being used to illustrate a principal or to explain how something works .

  trump said in another speech, had the citizens never voted democrat, and rinos were more concern about the citizens than lining their own pockets, the government would of had enough money to buy every citizen a home, car, full paid college education, and all social security recipients would be receiving 100k a year.

  the trillions of dollars that were stolen by democrats and rinos and given to other countries for transgender surgeries, wars in other countries, and other worthless stuff throughout the years, could have been invested in so many avenues, and american citizens would be the richest people in the entire world and the most innovative.

  don’t ever vote democrat again.
