  does anyone know when and how the change took place?

  the idea that the seventh day was 7,000 years and that in 1975 there were 1,000 years to go (the millenium).

  E: This timing idea is so ingrained in wt's "universal sovereignty" complex, that they twist bible texts to make it appear that all the ills caused by "satan's challenge", the settling of accounts, will happen while the deity is at his 7th day rest. within the creative week.

  wt writers to this day will slavishly use the phrase " At the end end of the thousand years" instead of the biblical: "after the 1000 years were ended" (satan will be let loose). Thus

  Wt makes mistakes not only at the beginning of the last part of the remaining creative day saga, but also at the end.

  let's face it wt, the creative day saga is all made up. no surprise, since the defining moment happens in the talking snake's schnozzle.

  hi friends i`ve finally got an appointment to go to hospital tomorrow ,pre-admission for my hip replacement surgery.. so if you don`t hear from me ever again ,it means i`ve carked it .lol, should i even joke about that ?.

  For all practical purposes, it is open borders now, at the southern US, Europe.

  The entries are lawless, illegal, imposed on law abiding citizens.

  we are heading for a society dominated by scofflaws.

  Yeah, like hispanics voting for trumph.

  The problems with many immigrants is, that they will not assimilate, learn the language, but create a different society, displacing, replacing the great order, and establishing the failed cultures that they fled.

  are you suggesting that the prevailing view of current JW's is that the universe was created in 6 literal days 6000 years ago?

  No, I meant that among those jw that are lucid enough to think about it, none would make that 6000 years.
  

  This use of the term “beginning” is therefore unassailable,

  but the bible is totally wrong in this use of "beginning" in Gen 1;1, , lumping together the heavens, stars mainly and our* planet *(the father has given it to us) .

  Since the Big Beginning, there were at least 3 generations of stars dying explosive deaths to forge the elements the Earth and we are made of.

  Anyway, does anyone know if the general belief of current JW's is that the earth is billions of years old but all of the creation is young (6000 yrs. ago) ?

  I do not believe any jw would believe that, but if wt taught that, some would accept it.
