this video will be played at one of the clam meetings in march 2016.. the content is kind of old news because it is a recut version of a previous video produced for the elder's school.
however, it's still significant because it shows that the organization still has dissenting brothers in positions of leadership.. my thanks to the leaker.

I tried to watch it. Couldn't get past the point where they show up at her house. I almost bailed out before that when they were talking to her at the hall. If I was still going to meetings and saw that at the hall, I would probably shoot straight thru the ceiling into outerspace.
I am seriously considering 'reviewing' this with my wife after they cover it during the CLAM. There are some other things going on in her hall at the moment that might prove useful.

Terry, I'm happy to hear it worked out well for your son. A question though, if I may? Are people displaying symptoms of Aspergers Syndrome defective or is the society that wants everyone to exhibit a certain behavior at fault? I think in more tolerant societies it would not be a problem (maybe it would, I don't know). Modern, western societies seem to expect everyone to conform to a limited range of behaviors. If you don' fit in that range, medication is required.
I seem to recall seeing a recent 'news' item that the US wanted everyone to be tested for depression (started out as just test for expectant/recent mothers). Just imagine where that could go.
would the jehovah`s witnesses be a shoe in , for the most about face , flip flop , of doctrine , beliefs , and practices in this 21st century , to have previously strongly held beliefs and then for them to be discarded in their 140 ?

I remember a post from JMG (The ArchDruid Report) where he was covering Apocalyptic religions in history,and when he got to JW's he said that they were in a class all their own. Most groups that promised but couldn't deliver, faded away into obscurity. He was amazed how the JW's had pulled it off multiple times.
I will look for a link to the series he ran. I think it was snippets from a book he wrote that he included at the end of his regular posts a couple of years ago.

As rebelfighter mentioned, the ability to function in group settings first caught my attention. I don't think it would get as much attention as a disorder here in Poland. That is one thing I like about being here - you don't have to be an outgoing, extrovert walking around with a big sh*t-eating grin on your face all the time (as expected in the USA). In fact people from here are often amazed at this behavior when visiting the US (prozac nation) and would view you suspiciously if you displayed 'always-on' behavior.
I'm actually fairly comfortable in my own skin so I guess I'll just stick with what I have. It doesn't seem to be a big issue. My dogs accept me as I am. I found it interesting to read about some of the various symptoms.
i would like to know if witnesses are still using the reasoning book in the field service.

the rule was (is) that you go to your assigned congregation.. growing up, i think our family was in our assigned congregation only one of three times.
the family made two major moves when i was a kid and each time my folks would visit the various congregations in the area and pick the one with the most kids.
given our association restrictions with the world, they wanted to make sure we had plenty of friends.. i have to give them credit where due.

i read on a jw forum that jw's came in for disapproval if they drove either sports cars or 2-door cars.
the reasoning was that a driver couldn't easily take fellow dubbies out preaching in such a vehicle.
