  i will never forget the saturday, i was in field service about 10 years ago.

  we came to this one house, a man in mid- thirtys came to the door, we preceded give our sermon the man said i m very, very grateful i dont believe the way you do!my friend and me looked at each other a little confused.

  the man said in again i really thank god, i dont believe the way you do.

  YES! If this is legit I would love for someone to find the article.

  Obviously it is from 1992 or prior, since this experience happened over 10 years ago.

  Powerful words... TOUCHING words that SHOULD even reach a JW parent with blinders on. I would think even THEY, when looking at their CHILD, would sense or feel something with that.

  This could be used on current JDubs who have infant children, and to point out they are NOT properly heeding the advice of the Emperor with No Clothes in Brooklyn.

  Hey Dave-

  I've got your back on this one.

  Bob Dont Know is the minority on this board and just makes these posts to make himself feel better with his useless, wasted life.

  He is a hypocrite by the fact he claims to be an active JW who even attends the Hall and proclaims the Organization's righteousness, yet violates the very rule handed down from his "God's directed organization" and "inspired Prophet" that he should NOT be here in the first place. One who KNOWINGLY socializes and debates with DF'd, DA'd, and "Apostates", which he has called us, so he knows what he is doing, is thereby committing actions which are grounds for being expelled from the Witnesses himself.

  YouKnow, Robert, whatever he is.. is a joke. Everyone here realizes that except for him.

  He will undoubtedly respond to this post with some insult or deragatory comment aimed at me and others here, but he wont address the issue at hand. More smokescreen and evasive tactics, just remind yourself he is a JDUMB, and we shouldnt feed the TROLLS.

  Speaking from one artist to another, that IS one awesome design Dave aka Seven.

  The fact that they are naked DOES add depth and meaning to the image. The people are controlled and vulnerable in their most basic state, and no matter what they cannot escape the cage that is the Watchtower which has surrounded and clouded their mind.

  i had told this person about the wtbs/un thing to which they stated, "bullshit.

  i first called headquarters, they put me through to patterson.

  You know what.. your right.

  It IS pathetically funny to someone looking at it objectively.

  I tried to reason with my brother about the UN issue, the protection of pedophiliacs, the waverance on doctrine from a self-declared "inspired" prophet again and again.. and he just turned on the blinders full tilt, accused me of being an Apostate and the lowest scum of the Earth, and declared me spiritually sick and the Organization the only hope if Jehovah would be willing to forgive my most treacherous sin.

  It hurt initially, but now I laugh at his naivety.

  I highly recommend people take a religion, ethics, or philosophy course at their local university.

  In a cult which exerts mind-control over its members, it is called a "conditioned response".

  They are indoctrinated with the idea that "only" their religion is absolute Truth, and anything.. and I mean ANYTHING that refutes or challenges that perspective is immediately dismissed as false.

  That is the case here.

  Just found Watchtower letter.

  i just found a letter i had lost , that i had recieved from the british bethal a few months back.. valuable stuff here.. an admision that they were an ngo .so when i tell people and they ask me to prove it i can show the letter, if i refer them to web sites they will switch off.. anyway here is a intresting statement.

  once an elder was at my house and saw the video beauty and the beast, he said you should throw that away, because it promotes bestiality.

  The dumbest counsel I ever received was when I was carrying the microphones at the meetings.

  I got yanked to the back room on the Sunday the CO was visiting and was subsequently scolded that my sideburns were to the bottom of my ear, hence I was displaying a rebellious unChristian-like appearance and attitude.

  I was then given an ultimatum to trim up my sideburns or to lose my microphone priviledges.

  Needless to say I wasn't on the microphone list after that.

  3/24 - A Special Day

  sunday, the 24th, will be my mother's birthday.

  had she lived, she would have been 95. she was 44 when i was born.

  she died in july 1966, when i was 15. she would have turned over in her grave had she known that i had ever been a jw.. her first contact with the jws was when i was still in the womb.

  Wonderful post Amazing.

  I believe in my relatively short tenure here I have found more touching experiences that truly reach the heart of the listener than any contrived drivel that spewed from each and every Circuit and District Assembly platform.

  From what the way you speak of your Mother, she was a truly special and beautiful person. I am not in the least bit surprised. It makes it all the more easier to see where the intelligent, affectionate, considerate son she gave birth to came from.
