  I don't believe they have outlined the criteria "Biblically drunk" anywhere have they?

  I don't remember seeing this in the leaked copies of the Flock book.

  On the other hand, they've a fine gradient when it comes to porn and what kinds are disfellowshippable and what kinds are not. It shows where the priorities are.

  One elder told me that drunkendess was "hard to prove". And I was like, "What?"

  It's one of those things that many elders, "Bethel heavies", Governing Body members, and at least one Watchtower President have been guilty of. And yet...some have been disfellowshipped for it. Hayden Covington comes to mind. But the majority seem to avoid any sort of punishment.

  Growing a beard

  i've always been currious as to how i would look with a beard so i've finally committed to doing it.

  over the next 30 days i'm going to grow out a full chin to ear beard.. .

  The Watchtower's standards on "spiritual" qualifications are so high, that it does create a shortage of "qualified" men to have privileges. For instance, it is more likely for a JW man to give into looking at a little online nudity, and thus fail to even carry a microphone, much less qualify for anything weighter.

  But at least those 13% got paid.

  The JW women involved in "theocratic" construction did not. This basically amounted to slave labor.

  Funny News From My Old Congragation - Elder Fight!

  i haven't stopped laughing since i heard this.

  a pimo in my last congregation told me that an elder has been removed from his elder position.

  apparently he grabbed another elder by the throat, put him up against a wall in the back room and punched him in on the nose... during an elders meeting on thursday evening after the meeting.. the congregation were running round like headless chickens wondering what to do?

  charity is lacking from the house of god.

  i remember reading once about some young pioneer sisters who needed emergency accommodation and where turn away from brooklyn because they weren’t special pioneers.

  If they ever would, it would only be if Watchtower can benefit in some way, shape or form. Like a good PR. And even then, it would be the exception, not the rule.
