The leadership is OUT OF TOUCH with how CERTAIN aspects/things are conducted within this 2️⃣1️⃣ST CENTURY (for they are REACTIONARIES with their mindset-mentalities remaining in the 1940s & 1950s). The leadership will seem to NEVER ACCEPT this or any other social changes, which are NORMAL as well.

Juneteenth being celebrated by JWs
by Anony Mous inso today i saw a group of jws i know, we were sitting down to eat at a public place and i guess they (mom and daughter) were performing at an event with their sports team… for juneteenth.. they (the entire team) happened to sit next to us for some fast food and i recognized them and said hi, hoping to make them uncomfortable.
they actually said hi and introduced themselves to my family, i’ve seen them before (they go to the same school as one of my kids) and they usually ignore me.
i know for a fact they and their family still goes, the family patriarch is an elder etc.

What you related is surely telling, in that Dubs will be willing to also COUNT TIME with individuals they don't know could be VZs or even POMOs. A POMO Dub friend had this happen to him:
A UUPIMI (who was no doubt new to the cong in his neighborhood) continued to leave literature and send letters to my friend's home. Info got back to him from a couple of PIMO friends [whom are making plans to fade sometime soon] that this UUPIMI was informed by a couple of elders that my POMO buddy was inactive and that this Dub should cease from having him as an RV + the Body plans to conduct a visit sometime soon. Unfortunately, due to some other UUPIMI sisters secretly encouraging him to continue, he snuck and kept on doing so. It wasn't until my friend's family members told those elders. He eventually stopped the following week. Those other UUPIMIs were quite upset and remarked: "Well, we can reach even INACTIVE ones in that manner before the elders do--and still count time. INACTIVE ones are the equivalent to WORLDLINGS; they are not doing ANYTHING for Jehovah or the organization!" SMDH! 🤦♀️🤦♂️🙄😤😡

it's been about 30 years since i have been to a kh and they would have a conference call of 4 people on the phone together because they were sick.

One now-POMO friend's PPIMI relative remarked that she (+ anyone else inquiring) would have to contact each different congregation's BOE to obtain that info. It seemed to me that WHQ's no doubt has the elders (& COs) QUITE PARANOID concerning this mode of communication. [SIDEBAR➡ ANTMO, when he was a GBer, acted as if he HATED this platform anyway and constantly reiterated for the membership to ATTEND IN PERSON, regardless of their physical statuses or conditions.🤨🤔]

@Scully➡ You know, I had the same thoughts! Since Jehovah is said to be "OMNIPOTENT" and "ALL POWERFUL", why is the leadership speaking about the membership having to BEAR THE BRUNT of burying dead carcasses--which I personally find EXTREMELY MACABRE😲😱, to say the least & the most.
It's as if the GBs---especially ANTMO, when he was in that particular group---DOES NOT PARTICULARLY CARE about what The Big A Survivors have to undergo regarding this aspect. I suspect that he nor none of the other GB members will be dealing with an enormous task such as the likes of that! BETHELL was HYPED UP to the greater degree that just about EVERYONE wanted to, if not only be a member of That Family but to look forward to visiting/touring the facilities for many reasons [dating & marrying, included]. After seeing/noticing the behaviors of some Bethellites (regardless of their positions + titles), I began to realize that that component of the cultporation wasn't all what it was cracked up to be. AAMOF, 4 of my own family members [siblings & relatives] who applied to become full-time, commuter, and temporary volunteers had declined. Welp, they weren't accepted anyway. NO DIFFERENT from people OUTSIDE OF WT!
