That is what appears to be a sword in its sheath. Maybe a Roman gladius. BTW look up what a sword sheath would be called in Latin.

Fellow Christian here, fluent in French btw, and Spanish too for that matter. I keep in touch with some friends in Africa, wonderful Christian minded folks who likewise have suffered through a lot.

trump congratulated his victory but the response was not what trump expected.

merz condemned america, saying that america seemed to be aligning with russia.. he also expressed doubts about nato’s future.. he is now advocating that germany must gain independence from usa.

Trumpolini is playing into the hands of Dictator Putin. I wonder if that's what is keeping the Moscow pee-pee tape out of the media.

As far as billions of dollars going to Ukraine, most of it is spent on armaments to US weapon manufacturers who employ American workers. And, a lot of those armaments are old and would be displaced by newer weapons so it is a boon to US armaments manufacturers.

the cover picture looks to me like the one that should have been used on the august 2024 wt but was pulled at the last minute and released with a different picture many weeks later.

someone on here uploaded a low res version of the picture last year.. of course we all know why the picture was pulled in the first place........ george.

I know for a fact that in congregations I gave talks as a visiting speaker elders had outlines of my same talk and followed along, one even had his wife check off points as they were covered. We had hospitality with them afterwards, her outline checkmarks showed she'd used it a few times with other speakers. But I believe this was a local thing, not something that was encouraged by the branch.
