  thunder and i are still so bummed.

  anthony is supposed to get a 30 second or so phone call between 3-5 days after he gets to san diego.

  i went in his room today and while making his bed i made the mistake of smelling his pillow.

  Brother & Sister Makememad

  anyone ever have one of those brothers or sisters in the congregation that would whine and cry that there isn't any work, they need this and that fixed, they have no food, clothes, etc etc?

  then the others in the congregation would come to help out, either financially or with physical labour.

  then 2 months later, the "unfortunate one" would go on a vacation to europe.. i knew a family like this, and their kids were no better.

  One summer, I was about 16, I practically lived with a family to help a "sister" out with 2 small children and a husband that was away a lot. (And she was a stay-at-home mom.) I was thinking I would get paid something, didn't expect much, but at least-SOMETHING! HAHA, nope, the only thing I got was a free meal every now and then!

  What I Don't Miss at a District Convention

  name the things you don't miss about going to a dc!

  ---getting there so early and then find that the "servants" have saved all the good seats

  ---not having time to make a decent lunch and getting admonished about not buying from nearby vendors.

  Shunned? You are better off....

  i have to tell you that if you are currently shunned, although it may be painful....you are actually better off imo.

  having had it both ways now, i am convinced that it was less painful than being halfway accepted (as i am now because my dad is sick).

  my conscience is clear and it feels so good but at the same time i am in more pain than when i was shunned.

  My first manuscript is done

  i finally got it done!.

  tommorrow i take it to a writer-in-residence at our city library for him to read.

  hopefully he will give me some good feedback.. after whatever changes he recommends it will go off to some publishers.. right now i am pretty calm about it.

  i finished my first year of law school last month.

  grades arrived at the end of last week, which was when i found out i am first in my class.

  i was not trying for it or expecting it, so to say i was surprised is an understatement.

  tuesday 27th may 2003 at 12.30 am, i misscarried my first baby.

  i was 9 weeks pregnant.
