What does it take to live forever?

as a jw, we were told that we had to be saved in order to live eternally.
do you still hope to live eternally, or did this dream fade away?

IMO--hell would be on this earthly paradise, in the new system living forever with all the jw's..
ROFLOL @ butal. When I hinted to my mother about leaving my ex, she would try to console me and tell me that in the "new order" things would be perfect and we could live forever. That would make me cry, I'd tell her "that's the problem, I can't stand the thought of putting up with him forever"

im telling you i was going through pc withdraw, new computer up and running now.. max made it safely to his destination, and is doing great.
again, i thank the powers that be, he did not end up in iraq and is safe here in the us, albeit far away and quite a long time but the safe and no war zone makes it just fine!

she is flying in tomorrow to spend the next four days with me.
where it goes from there is anyones guess, but i am looking forward to having four days of fun and relaxation getting to know her in person.. am i a bit nervous?

Your letter is the most moving one I have ever read! You have done very well in your father's behalf. It makes me angry to know that he was treated in such an unchristain way. You are right, there are others out there who are in that same saddened state that your father was. A hug can mean so much, just knowing that someoned does care. I can't believe he was admonished for giving someone a friendly hug at an assembly. What a letdown!!!! He was expecting encouragement and what does he get? Counceled for giving someone a hug.
