  Are They Cynically Shutting Down The Organization?

  i've raised this idea before but recent events seem to support it.

  changes in the watchtower may be guided by more than a need for cash flow: they may simply be liquidating/shutting it down as discreetly as possible.. of course, this doesn't mean they stop working on their upstate ny country club - but it could mean that the throrough going exposure and disproof of their beliefs on the internet, when it emerged, took many of them by surprize, as it did many of us!

  after awhile, they generally gave up trying to make any sense of their doctrines - and coupled with cash flow issues - moved towards a quiet retreat.. take a look at a few things:.

  But I don't see the how a quantum mind could be considered a not material mind. I think the quantum computing will be virtually identical to human mind. And this kind of computing seems to be very possible as long the nature itself can use it. It's fascinating to me how the biology can link so close to physics.

  when discussing the argument of how life originated the wt always boils it down to being chance vs. intelligent design.. no scientist in their right mind believes it happened by chance.

  nor do most scientists believe that life is a product of god.. there is a solution that the wt completely ignores and that is... natural selection.. how many here who believe in a creator have honestly examined what natural selection really is?.

  (i've been reading "the god delusion" by richard dawkins and was very surprised when i came to the chapter that actually mentions the watchtower society's arguments for intelligent design.

  In time, you does not "believe" in science. You believe (or not) in religious dogmas.

  In science you must understand something, and after that you must accept or not. There's no believe in science.

  The origin of life and the evolution of life are two different things. The evolution theory starts at the first organism capable to copy itself and make some kind of metabolism.

  The origin of life copes with chemical evolution. How the inorganic elements turns into organic ones.

  While different the two theories follow the darwinian algorithm: heredity, mutation and natural selection.

  The chance are the driven force of the mutations and it's not the only factor in the process.

  To say the chance is responsible for origin of life or evolution of life it's the same to say a house is built through water.

  Of course to build a house you have to add a lot of water in the process, but it's not the water itself that builds the house.

  BTW, the final result (the house) contains practically no water used through the construction. It's a factor that is dischargeable.

  So, when someone says the chance did something the only answer to that it's to smile before such ignorance.

  The first man was born when an ape ate a shroom.

  There's a theory about the writing of sacred texts that says they wrote in an organic fashion and after they just pick and choose the best parts to form a relative comprehensive text.

  Organic writing can be induced by several ways, one is getting high.

  The evolution leads to the fitness to environment. If the environment benefits the dumbers so the dumbers will arise.

  Evolution it's not enhancement it's just transformation. Darwin itself never used the word "evolution".

  ask yourself what actual difference exists between them?.

  a really good elvis impersonator may look and sound pretty darned close to the real elvis--but, is "close" the same as genuine?.

  Maybe we are just a simulation in some super mega quantum computer.

  This question only will be fully answered when we can build one to us and see what happens.

  The test of knowing if a picture is from a real object or a renderization is basically zooming in and see what the pixels tell to us. If we zoom in the real world we will end in a little bunch of "pixels". Our reality can be computerized.

  If it's true, our existence is a little disappointing. It's not like Matrix b/c we have no "real" parts. All we are is a super mega simulation guided by simple laws.

  Unless we can find some way to cheat our world computer. That's would be great.
