  i meet a 6 years baptised jw girl.

  we planned to marry here in philippines ( no divorce here }.

  judge told me he can do the marriage so we livived together to be married.

  Almond, you have a sticky situation.

  Your fiance is disfellowshipped.

  You are free to remarry on scriptural grounds, but not legal grounds. This pledge of faithfullness, I would be surprised, may apply in your case. If the Elder comes back and tells you that it doesn't, then that is your answer about that loophole.

  Go home and hug your fiance, and tell her that you love her forever and you both will ride out this crazy world. Then when the planets allign, you will get that paper.

  when bethel serves pancakes, do they give you a choice?

  is it only 1 choice.

  it sure would be a deal breaker for me if i didn't get to choose between bacon, or sausages.

  when i learned ttatt, it became obvious that the wtbts was not god's organization.

  it became obvious that if the bible was true, the wtbts's teaching on the "anointed" were false.

  Well, BOTR, there was that war way back in 1812 that we fought against the Americans, and we won. We're really sorry about that.

  There are some hockey games and some Baseball games that we beat you Americans at, but we're not apologizing for those.

  We listen and respect our Beavers up here.

  We can recite the 26 varieties of donuts that are in a Tim Hortons.

  We know what/who Tim Horton was/is.

  We take our beer drinking seriously

  We pay a lot of taxes, and we hate talking about that one.

  Jgnat is correct. Your divorce must be a scriptural one. For example, your X must be guilty of committing adultery.

  Those pledges of faithfulness are meant to be applied in countries where there is absolutely no hope of getting a divorce. Not to be applied in countries that have time(1 year) limitations.

  It is no good to appeal if you are in violation of the rules. The decision of the Elders will still stand. An appeal would work if you suspect that the Elders made a bad judgement.
