Been around...this...as I was growing up and actually became a member at 29; this was all that I knew. Had doubts about what I was being taught; it wasn't my first encounter with TTATT. After doing some research, the cognitive dissonance made things very confusing. I was officially disassociated months after my 32nd birthday, with the ARC, the lack of love among members in the congregation, and JW Broadcasting being the last straw; they were no different from other religions. I'm looking back and realizing that I may have been a "social" witness in terms of how long I was baptized, but I actually believed everything that was being taught throughout my life...
