The "remnant" of the "144,000" "anointed" are, by definition, latter day saints, no?

A JW--Mormon Alliance? WT and LDS Merger?
by cameo-d infirst, there is a disclaimer on the webiste that it is not an "official" lds website.
however, what appears to be promoted is mormon based.. .
why would a mormon based website title itself "upon the watchtower"?.

Sure. They both came from the Freemasons and met together to compare notes with the Illuminati in the '50s...

Boy Sent Home From School For Drawing Pic Of Jesus Dead On A Cross!
by minimus ina taunton mass.
2nd grader was sent home from school after the class was asked to draw something relating to the holidays.
he had been with his dad a couple of weeks before to a church function and saw these types of crosses on display.

I dunno. I have to say I think this is being blown out of proportion. Christ crucified is a symbol of faith to millions - it's not meant to be shocking or offensive, and it's certainly not like your average kid never saw a crucifix before. I'm glad I'm not so easily offended and ultra-sensitive to religious iconography as I was when I was in the WT... I mean, if the kid drew a Magen David, you'd be accused of anti-Semitism if you took issue to it. Granted, a hexagram isn't exactly the same thing as a dead guy, but you know what I'm driving at.

Oh, come on. Even as a kid I knew Solomon and stuff were just stories, and I think most kids are smart enough to realize that. I mean, most kids are playing games like Call of Duty and Grand Theft Auto and they turn out fine. What's a guy on a cross compared to a realistic CG head shot from a sniper in the Middle East?

The Walkill move is one of desperation and possibly the last major move they'll make. Mark my words.

And you KNOW those 16 out-of-court child abuse settlements are only the beginning.

And don't forget more and more "anointed" E-Watcman/Perimeno and even "great crowd" Greg Stafford types coming out of the woodwork...

How will they be around for more than a decade without either schism or reform? You've seen the numbers. The anointed are almost at 10,000. Most of the GB is under 60 years old. When Jaracz and the last of the old guard are gone, they will completely lose all sense of direction. The "new guys" are nothing but company men. The growth is stagnating, the propaganda more and more blatant, the scandals more and more public, the R&F more and more tired and apathetic. The GB has said - at conventions - "Brothers, we are tired. We want to go home (to heaven)." They won't drop 1914, shunning, the 144K or blood. And 2012? Don't even start with that one.
I give them 5 years TOPS before the dam bursts.

Hey, let's not discount the good pastor's influence on the WT.
You know... the Oral Review?
