I heard the warnings. I was there in 1960, 1966, 1969, 1972, and 1975. I watched the Governing Body form, heard Fred Franz's warnings of our impending doom. I saw growth, a mass movement toward "serving where the need was greater." I saw young people leave school, older people quit their jobs. Congregation "Servants" soon became "elders" and no longer served the flock, but lorded over them. I saw shunning applied not only to sinful ones, but also to those that expressed doubt or concern about harmful policies. The mantra for those disappointed by the Watchtower's lies, false prophecies, and harsh treatment of doubters was: "Where else can we go?" While the world is being educated about the false slave organization, Jehovah's Witnesses remain in the dark about their own organization. I hope to help shine some light on "the Truth" and help loosen the bonds.
