  i am not sure how old this is, it was just posted on youtube.

  the convention shown is from 2002. the former elder starting at around 5:50 in part one really reveals jw practices.

  Thx for posting the clips otwo, I remember before this story aired we were told not to watch it, thank god for you tube, it will never go away. I had a few friends in Natalie Webbs congregation, they could never believe that Maurice Hadley would visit her Dad in prison once a month, sickening. I stand corrected, but Im pretty sure this was the reason Bentleigh Cong got disbanded not long after.

  I couldnt believe the camera shots of the district convention at the Melbourne Tennis Centre, not only did I see me & my family, but many I knew, so many no longer go anymore, trip down memory lane. Sadly also saw a few no longer with us....

  Ok, have found the listing for the Magistrates court for today: Unknown V Christian Cong of JW's.

  Its out at the Latrobe Magistrates Court in Gippsland, not here in old Melb town. By the look of it, was scheduled for 9:30am this morning (3 hours ago) and the JW's were either a no show or not represented by any Toole's......

  Hi Barb, great work as usual!

  Its lunchtime here in Melbourne on the 13th, no news from the media outlets here. I have done a fairly thorough search of the court listings both criminal & civil for the Magaistrates court here and come up with no mention of jw's/gb or gb members by name. Unless its being held in one of the Magistrates courts somewhere in the coutryside, nothing of note here in the City.

  Just a correction though Barb, we lost our Commisioner of Police a while back due to poolitical reasons, nothing to do with the working with children issue at all. It was a grubby political/media hatchet job that was 2 years in the making.

  If there is a court listing/case, rest assured the aptly named Aussie bethel representative br Toole will be in attendance...

  for those who have missed the danish movie about a" coming of age" witness girl and her subsequent problems that follow,the movie will be shown this coming wednesday night on victorian tv aust.. if you haven`t seen it i would recommend it.

  it really hits home about the shunning of baptized family members.

  Not one, despite a long history as a JW, wouldn’t matter though as I had the best excuse - I’m in China for work at the moment, aint no memorial here!!! Too much pollution to see the moon at night, they will be having a glass of wine and crackers tonight at the Karaoke bar! Cheers, Mattieu...

  I will never forget when I toured bethel in South Korea, they have a section where they display pictures (in a shrine like way) of the poor Men (brothers) who have died in prison (beatings from other prisoners and mistreatment from prison guards) due to being conscientious objectors. The Borg has blood on their hands.... Makes me feel sick.....

  Earthquake in N.Z.

  i guess the witnesses are rejoicing over the death and destruction of the latest earthquake in n.z.as proof of the imminent coming of armageddon,and their deliverance into the "new world system of things" i can just see it now ,the kh`s in nz will be filled to overflowing in the next month,......then in six months later it will be back to the status quo.. p.s when jesus said their would be" earthquakes in one place after another" couldn`t he have identified these areas for the faithfull ?

  so at least beleivers would have been spared the trauma ?

  of course non beleivers would have suffered the consequences,but why should beleivers suffer also ?.

  Wow, watching live feeds from NZTV & TV3, shocking.... I remember from the last earthquake that Black Sheep said he isnt near Christchurch. 65 dead, though really I think they are expecting that to rise to 300, so sad. Thoughts are with our Tasman cousins...
