He looks part minpin in the face.
I'm wondering if he's part dachsie? His head is a lot bigger than our black chihuahua, his legs are shorter and his body is longer - all like a daschund.

Thanks for the advice. The 4 programs for helping people that I volunteer with don't seem to mind that I also help animals, so neither should you.

Looks like his name will be:
WHISKEY
I'm in love with him already.
And he's getting along great with the dog we already have. The dog we have already was rescued from an abusive home. So he has some issues and is afraid of everything. We got this new dog hoping it would help our's to be less fearful. And as a bonus, we rescued another dog - Whiskey is 3-4 years old.
I almost got a little female chihuahua who had been abandoned by her family in a garage!
They said it happens alot because of the economy. But geez people......

He was abandoned by his family in their back yard when they moved and then was rescued by Animal Rescue. He's been fostered for the last 4 months and his foster mom called him Martin. But he doesn't look like a Martin or a Marty to us.
He's a chihuahua, probably not pure-bred. He's very sweet and huggy.
Any suggestions for names?
