Joined3rd generation JW - left the fold when I was fairly young. My mother has spent her entire 80 years in the clasp of the JWs and her faith is non-wavering. It has been a constant battle in our lives, but I have held firm. Pussy footed around it for a while but not any more. I never try and turn her against her faith, I listen when she preaches and sometimes I even laugh when it is ridiculous...every conversation, not matter what the subject always holds an opporitunity to turn it to the end of this system of things and to play on my fear of the end of this system of things and hope of life ever lasting! What she doesn't know is that I am not afraid of death. I have to thank the JWs for teaching me that!!!
