Thanks 4 reply u know what i think about education.U r spot on about our children we must offer another paradigm, give them as many opportunities as possible, Both my boys want to be doctors and the youngest is 11.

Describe Your Sense of Humor

i think posting on a discussion board can tend to come across in a certain way, personality wise.. i'm the type of person "in real life" that is usually considered quite funny.

i have a very quick wit and i can usually disable someone rather quickly with a facial expression, smile or definitive body language.

of course, you can't see those things here but you might notice a person's humor (or lack of it) by how they post.. so what tickles your funny bone?

I like irreverent humour like Aristophanes. poking fun at pomposity in all it's forms. i love wacky offbeat humour .Also ironic humour.i enjoy

Humour can be very revealing about the target and the teller. Why do you think the wts never told Jokes and the dictators seem to be usually without out. If people can not laugh at themselves they have not found themselves -wow is that profound - almost

Spot on and i fell for it, i gave up a college place to become a JW, totally and utterly stupid, what an idiot!!. When i obtained my degree i began questioning and reasoning, not long after I left, this was 4 other reasons but the pattern fits

All high control rulers religionists do it. I went to see the Golden Compass last night and that is in part what it is about.

Glad to have left

i am so excited about christmas, i've only celebrated 2 since 1978.. i will be having a mini - apostafest with some jwders on the saturday after christmas along with family (even some of my ex-husband's family).

i'm sure you would agree that my everlasting life is an important enough reason to revisit some of the outstanding questions i posed last year to be addressed.

I have to say you are an incorrigible optimist if think the elders are going to think, if they do, after arguments like that they will be out

.I like your reasoning. I would definitely take witnesses to my JC if poss as recommended by others here.
