JoinedBaptized at 16 yrs, husband born in. Many doubts for many years, but finally we could no longer suppress what was left of our logical, reasoning minds. Husband elder for 26 yrs, resigned all responsibilities about a year ago, no meetings for nine months or so. Not dfed or da (yet), but all friends have shunned us, even those who have been very close since we were teenagers, relationships of 40 plus years. Its been a tough year, but we are slowly reconstructing our lives, thanks, in part, to this board where we can find people who really "get it". This place is a refuge.
