  Tendencies toward fanaticism

  in a "cause and effect" world detached from logical fallacy we probably would have an enormous drop in fanatical thinking and behavior.. but, we don't.. some of us fall prey to fallacious thinking.

  we fail to sort out the facts.

  we group our "cause" and our "effects" out of synch with actual data.. .

  And aren't these extremes of fanaticism easily evoked toward young open minded people who are invariably unaware of the possible dangers

  that these emotionally inspired expressions of fanaticism can create.

  Most people I've met who get into fanatical religious cults did so when they were young adults, including my own parents who were 20 ish . (JWS)

  A ironic twist of ideology when you think about it, mixed with a infusion of hypocrisy.

  Now the WTS. is sitting on top the the great wild beast (Harlot) using its world wide influence to help

  this religious organization pursue its expansion to countries where religious freedoms are restrained and curtailed.

  My 1,914th post: The man I personally blame for the early success of the Watch Tower Society

  it seems fitting to use my 1,914th post to address a doctrine that has shaped the lives of so many of us, and which continues to be a cornerstone belief that is used to keep individual jehovahs witnesses trapped in servitude to a man-made corporation.. .

  that said, we might well ask who started it all?

  we might say russell, who borrowed heavily from the millerite teachings of the second adventists in advocating a chronology that included the year 1914. as we know, when we research early witness literature we realise that the year 1914 featured in russell's chronology only as the end of a series of events culminating in armageddon, and not the beginning of christ's presence.

  Interesting that 1914 was the biggest and probably the most longest lasting doctrine of the JWS/WTS. and probably its most adverse corrupt doctrine

  that the WTS. held onto in supporting itself.

  This may have happened more with Russell's Pyramidology teachings which publicly couldn't hold its ground for lack of support so when

  Rutherford took over the WTS. he sought something else to maintain this most valuable concept of Christ returning, something that had

  obviously great potential in attracting the publics attention. So he went back into the bible, moved some dates around and created

  a newly scriptural basis to back 1914. It was still deceivingly created but it was assumed that the general public wouldn't able to discern of

  its corrupted basis, scriptural or otherwise, a maligning ploy played upon the publics own biblical and theological ignorance.

  Rutherford was indeed a devious cad of sorts but had the intelligence and opportunistic ego to build a kingdom around himself, that kingdom

  was the Watchtower Publishing Corporation.

  Many JWS in their all encompassing agenda to protect the organization's image (god's earthly organization) will dodge any contravening information

  that inflicts damage to that agenda. Lie if you must, twist or spin information but at all cost protect the organization, this is where fear induced mental

  indoctrination kicks in and protecting the image of organization is also about protecting their own purported self image.

  Yes part of the self imposed arrogance of JWS is that they will be the chosen ones who will survive Armageddon and most of the rest of the world will die

  leaving their lavish homes to them. J Rutherford jumped ahead of this by building a lavish home for himself to live in even before Armageddon was to

  occur. Lets not forget that the survivors (JWS) are to let the dead wrought on the ground so the birds and and other flesh eating animals can

  feast on the dead bodies . Isn't religion great ? What a swell thing to teach children too.

  i know this has been said a thousand times already but oodads posting reminded me of when i got to thinking about the generation teaching at a family get together we had a couple of months ago with some witness relatives and so much wanted to ask this question at the table.

  imagine it is the year 1914, and jesus walks into the room and sees these four generations of males.

  he says ''this generation will by no means pass away until all these things occur''.. which of the four generations is he talking about?.
