I have met and shook hands with four famous people in my life so far; Tom Cruise, Cher, (at the same bar) Robert Wagner, and Bo Gritz. Bo was nice enough to give me a photo. I must say Bo was the most interesting to talk to by a long shot. Actually I didn't get to talk to the others, as they were just a quick handshake and hello. But I got to sit down with Bo for about 10 minutes or so. It is a conversation and memory that I will never forget. This man is true warrior, and honorable man. I'm proud to be able to say I've shook his hand.

Firearms And Shooting...
by Justice-One ini thought i would open up a thread on firearms and shooting.
personally i was raised around firearms as my dad was not a jw.
some of my earliest memories are of my dad teaching me how to put a round in a fleas ass at 200 meters.

What about an M14/M1A? The M14 is what the guy in my avatar is carrying. I love my M14...as they say, "I don't need no teenage queen, all I need is my M14!" BTW, I also have more than 5000 rounds of ADI (Australian Defence Industries) 7.62x51 Mike Mike in my JASBORR. BTW, I can spell (for the most part) the Aussies use a C where we would use an S.

Really, I don't see why it matters to the Canadians and the English if Americans own guns. What's it to you? Planning an invasion?
Waahahahahahaha! That would be fun. We kick their butt's and be home in time for dinner. LOL. We wouldn't even have to give the uniformed armed forces a call.....in the USA, WE THE PEOPLE are the armed forces.
Ohh I forgot, they already tried that and it didn't work out to good for them.

I carry (CCW) as needed. Training and mindset are more important than anything. Being armed and knowing it (the bad guy doesnt) will keep you out of a lot of sh*it befor it happens.
I was out just this morning. I did a little shopping for the wife. Funny, no one seemed to mind the cocked and locked .45 under my jacket.

I have one...semi-automatic .30 caliber
Who made yours? Mine was made in 1942 by the Inland Division of GM. I wonder sometimes if it was used for its designed purpose in the name of freedom. Just think...one of those "Band Of Brothers" could have used this very one!
Man they are fun to shoot aren't they! I'm even going to use mine for deer hunting this year. Of course my shooting lane is well within the Carbines limitations.

Nic, to counter the usual crock of shit that J-1 is selling,
Do you dispute world history? And btw, please go make love to yourself. You can not compare one country to another one. Most countries are not as free as the USA. Japan is a prime example. But it's nice to know Kiddy that the world still has some dreamers left in it such as yourself.
And your stats in no way diminish the facts that I have presented. Governments have killed far more bad guys (after disarming them) than criminals ever will.
In the 20th Century:
- Governments murdered four times as many civilians as were killed in all the international and domestic wars combined.
- Governments murdered millions more people than were killed by common criminals.
How could governments kill so many people? The governments had the power - and the people, the victims, were unable to resist. The victims were unarmed.
Yeah......lets make the world safe and take away all the guns.
Kiddy, I count you in with the rest that just don' t get it, or don't want to....or don't have the brains to do either. OR you full well no the truth, but will not even admit it to yourself because those guns and the real men that are not afraid of them, are just to scary for you to deal with.

So the Constitution comes before the people?
In short yes. It can not be changed by a simple majority.
Would Christ carry a gun....maybe if he had to live in England....but he did tell his apostles to arm themselves with Roman swords. Which were the same as our M16's today. (Standard arm of the time.)
Some people and countries have a problem with the concept of armed free men. I can't say that I understand it, considering what history has taught us. The Human Cost of "Gun Control" Ideas

Just because the constitution allows something does not make that thing desirable.
We are not living in 1787.
And that is ones mans opinion. Thankfully because of our Constitution, it would not matter even if 51 percent thought the same way. Some people just do not understand that freedom is a precious, rare, and delicate thing. Those that would give up freedom for safety, deserve neither. Hmmmm....seems to me some old dead guy said that.

Would YOU kill someone if you felt they really deserved to die?
by gaiagirl incould be anyone, osama bin laden, oj simpson, pat robertson, someone who personally hurt you or your family, anyone at all.
would you pull the trigger, throw the switch, etc, which would end someones life?
would it make a difference if no one would ever know, versus everyone knowing?

"I don't believe in a moral justice, it is all cultural conditioning anyway, this moral justice thing, there is no right and wrong these are just arbitrary and imaginary illussions of the mind."

I don't think this thing we call justice is tangable, it is just an illusion of the mind, a way we have at looking at the world that varies from persom to person and depends all apon one's point of veiw.
Well you can believe what you want. But that does not mean that there is not right and wrong, and good and evil.
I take it you are the type that believes that a person should not be accountable for his actions, because maybe his Mom made him stand in the corner until he wet his pants when he was five?
