Konrad West is my writing/filmmaking pseudonym. I was raised a Witness, and after I read Joseph Campbell's The Hero With A Thousand Faces at 23, I realised that all religions are just myths taken literally. I was later accused of apostasy, but when I challenged this, they dropped that and made up something else to disfellowship me for. I'm stoked I've found freedom, but sad about losing my family over this. I now occasionally post about JWs on my blog at konradwest.com.
