An Anti-Witnessing Campaign, Please Join Me!

in the past few weeks, the shunning issue has become a very personal one for me, and i have begun to realize that it is not just enough for me and my family to fade out.

after some recent events, i am motivated to start some anti-watchtower activism of my own.. i, like many others, have hoped that there would be a scandal of epic proportions within the organization, something that would wake others up and trigger a mass exodus.. while i am still hopeful that this may happen, it seems that the organization is too good at damage control, and heightening the paranoia surrounding apostates.. but what if the ex-witness community tried a different approach?.

what if, to borrow a hockey term, a sort of shut out situation was created?.

you see them all over the place now, 2 or 3 of them standing near a portable display of bible-based literature, chatting to each other.

counting time.. i've seen them in london, glasgow and cluj (romania).

the portable display is always the same.

My wife and i, cake for our daughters...hm

so recently it was my daughters b-day and my wonderful wife thought of a great idea....lets get her a cake.

so some family came to town and we did cake and a few gifts.

interesting developments as my wife and i have not been to the meetings in abouuuuuut a month....and have been incredibly irregukar in attendance the past six months.

it's been 6 months now since my old computer died.

a good friend of our's had a spare computer her husband never used so she asked me if i would like to have it.

after cleaning it up inside and out i found out i could not remember my password and the e-mail i gave them i no longer use.

Two Years of Repentance

this is a story about a (former) elder in my kh.

this was the po for many, many years.

he used to always call me when i didn't turn in my fs report.

As an outsider this stood out to me "The latest rumor was that his son (who is a baptized brother) showed up at the KH without a tie on."- in the real world who the hell would care much less even make a passing comment on it? and yet it is 'rumored' within the dub world?!

31 years young tomorrow, B Day...four years of freedom from the towers...

joined this website in july 2010 and havent looked back...so happy to be watchtower free!!!!

(i was born feb 16th 1983).. i'll be 31 years old tomorrow and i feel indifferent about it.

as usually my mom said your gonna be 31 but she didnt say happy birthday.

Now predicting increase of anointed?

i came across this nugget in the may 2014 issue:.

"are you moving ahead with jehovah's organization".

....at one time, the anointed remnant were like the little one, but their number grew as other spiritual israelites were brought into gods organization.

My JW mom is coming to visit this Friday!!

my parents are recent converts to jw (both baptized).

i was never a jw, but did study with them for a long time.

after doing research, my husband and i quit going to meetings and stopped the bs.

"She is planning to bring me some magazines."- Will she allow you to give her some of your literature? snowballs chance in hell of that! I would tell her if she expects you to read her rags then she must read whatever you give to her if not then keep the cult literature out of your house and away from your precious children.
