  Whatever happened to Marvin Shilmer?

  "marvin", who i understand is a pseudonym, has an excellent blog whose most recent post was last september.

  his most recent contribution to wikipedia, where he made very valuable contributions, was march 2013.. i have emailed him wondering if he's ok, but haven't had a response.

  anyone know if he's ok or what the deal is?.

  the best game of the whole football year is almost always the champions league final.. it's on tv live right now and this year both finalists are from madrid.. real madrid v athletico madrid.. the talent on show for the next 90 minutes is stunning.. diego costa has been subbed already - hamstring.. if you can't get the game in your country you can follow the updates here....

  the problem i have with European CL football is the financial fair play aspect - its highly improbable for a non-Big 5 based team to win the CL - here they are for the last 30 years - 5 smaller country teams have managed it.

  damn wish I'd seen this thread last night..

  great game - I had 20 quid on Atletico/RM at 28/1 (half time fulltime bet) - was looking ok until about 75 minutes and it became clear RM were going to need a huge result to get the 2 goals I needed for my illgotten gain.

  the rise may continue to be relatively slow for at least the next century or so, the scientists said, but sometime after that it will probably speed up so sharply as to become a crisis.. this is really happening, said thomas p. wagner, who runs nasas programs on polar ice and helped oversee some of the research.

  theres nothing to stop it now.

  "Don't underestimate the other guy" is always good advice.

  I simply do not agree with your "Chicken Little the sky is falling" and humans are to blame opinions.

  Can you separately define 'fact' and 'opinion' please?
