Are there still people on Facebook groups sticking up for him? Bizarre. What about Reddit, what’s going on there? I can’t navigate Reddit at all.

According to graphtreon his peak patrons was 897 last year, so his current 439 is under half of the peak. Since a few of the 439 will be new patrons, he must have lost well over half of the original patrons at the start of the year.
Even so, as long as his patrons are counted in the hundreds, he will probably be motivated to keep on going. Because 400 patrons is worse than 900 patrons, but it’s better than nothing, probably, in his mind, and better than an alternative way of making a living.
I wonder who the remaining patrons are. A few of them will be die hard fans, but at this point I wonder if a substantial number are just people who subscribed a few years ago and have forgotten about it. Sometimes people just forget to delete old subscriptions they don’t use any more. I know I have.

we didn’t always agree but he’d always swing by later and either smooth things out or just move on.

he held no grudges.. he’ll be missed...

Wow LMSA that was a crazy thread. I had completely forgotten about it. He claimed to be on the verge of a nervous breakdown just because of some comments on an Internet forum. Wow! Compare that with the genuine upset he has caused so many people who have had the misfortune of crossing his path in life.
I took a mild dislike to him early on, but I never imagined how unpleasant a person he truly is. If it wasn't for his own confession video I would have had trouble even believing it.

Somebody mentioned why he used an English address for the speed dating event. It’s worse than that. Didn’t he use the address of a former supporter who he stayed with, for free, on a previous trip, without even asking their permission?

His pretend, dry tears on the livestream was one of the worst bits - chilling, actually, because it was only a brief pretence, after which he jolted back sharply to his self justifications and recriminations.
It’s interesting, and not terribly surprising to read the stories on here about him brushing people off and having no time to help anyone unless there was an immediate reward for himself. What a contrast with Raymond Franz. I emailed him about a dozen times and he wrote back each and every time with a thoughtful response. I’ve heard many others say the same, and more, about Ray Franz being generous with his time and support. What a complete contrast with LE who actually called someone out on Twitter for ‘wasting his time’ by sending him a question when ‘they should be able to find the answer for themselves’, without bothering him and using up his valuable time.
I notice on his Patreon page that he was “forced” to cancel another meeting with his patrons because of a “family illness”. His remaining patrons are just mugs at this point. He is barely even pretending any more.

To use one of my favourite malaphors: he has had a, “I'll burn that bridge when I get to it” mentality.
Or as noted already, he’s the perfect demonstration of the adage: be careful how you treat people on the way up, because you meet the same people on the way back down.
He has a strict method for dealing with criticism that he never appears to deviate from. In any given situation his instinctive response is to claim that any criticism is grossly unfair for handful of recycled reasons: it’s not so bad, others did worse, why are you picking on me, you’re a bully, my mental health, see what I have to put up with. Rinse and repeat. It’s difficult to fathom, because it’s not how most people operate, but it genuinely doesn’t appear to have ever occurred to him to actually ask himself whether criticism of him is valid, about anything, ever, in his whole life.

What about the crime of “insulting our intelligence”, which LE does with practically every statement, attempting to divert attention from his own behaviour by falsely accusing others.
