This is one of his videos where he uses the Apocrypha to argue for angel Christology. I find his videos really interesting.

JWs don’t use the apocryphal, yet source them
by Anony Mous inso a quick little note about a few things that i recently learned.
if you ever had the yellow book of bible stories, there was the story of enoch, also repeated in other watchtower publications, about the angels fathering giants and being a menace on earth.
now if you look at the nicean bible, which is the wtbts selection of the bible, it mentions enoch twice and only has a very brief passage about nephilim and ben elohim.

The book “Equipped for Every Good Work” (1946) had two chapters on dating and contents of the Apocrypha.
There was a good YouTube channel that pointed out support for JW Christology from apocryphal writings but I can’t find it right now. I hope it’s not gone.

If Ortez thinks he’ll have success giving Lloyd friendly criticism then he’s probably in for a shock. Lloyd can’t accept any criticism at all. Maybe in the very extreme circumstance of having no other friends left he might make an exception and pretend to accept constructive criticism, but it would be difficult for him to pull off.
It’s amazing to think that if Lloyd had simply taken Kim’s advice to stay off social media then perhaps none of this would have come out. I am glad that it did come out! Lloyd has been causing ructions and havoc for years, he’s just managed to hide it well. I feel sorry for his family including his parents in law who must have love and patience of saints to go through all this.

Another strange episode with Lloyd was with his sister. He made videos about her which he later took down. She is no longer a JW but doesn’t have anything to do with Lloyd for reasons that were never explained. He found out that she was doing a sponsored run and he encouraged his supporters to sponsor her, but she didn’t want his supporters’ money and he removed the video, presumably at her request. It seemed intrusive and bullying the way he galvanised his followers to send his sister messages along the lines “shame on you for ignoring Lloyd but here’s some money for your run”.

The testimony from “Marko” is shocking and sounds credible. Especially the bit about Lloyd putting pressure on his wife to “keep it in the family”. It’s horrible to think how his narcissistic rage must be playing out right now. He no doubt blames others, especially his wife for this all coming out.
Mark O’Donnell’s statement is much appreciated, but I think he should have said that the further allegations against Lloyd are unproven rather than untrue. Because how does Mark know they are untrue? And Kim Silvio should be praised for speaking out. But overall Mark’s statement is good.
I don’t like the statement from Ortez at all. I don’t care how many hours he has put into the documentary. If he truly puts victims first then he should state categorically that Lloyd will play no part in it. He asks for time to work out the “details”, but excluding Lloyd from the project is not a “detail”. It’s a decision that should have been taken by now. Only swift action could save the project, which he seems unwilling to take. I doubt it will see the light of day now.

I thought the reason they “had to leave” England was because his wife gave him an ultimatum after she found him sexting that either they move to Croatia or it’s over.
I don’t think he’s a fugitive because he has returned to England a number of times. If the elders have serious allegations against his name then it’s a pretty odd move for him to advocate for the release of a database that he himself is on. Because if he succeeded in making the database public then he would be exposing himself. Even for a liar as prolific and blatant as him, this seems pretty far fetched.
And how would it constitute a threat or a bargaining chip that he could use against Watchtower? It reminds me of the Blazing Saddles scene where he holds a gun to his own head and says, “don't move or I’ll shoot”.
Croatia is a small country, so the distinction between an elder called in to help from a local congregation, and a “branch representative” may not be that significant. Plus don’t we only have his word for it? It could as well be self aggrandisement. Maybe he produced a letter with this information, I don’t know. If it’s just his word for it I’d put a question mark against it.
I’m not saying the more serious allegations are impossible, but there would need to be good evidence.
The things that he has already admitted to are bad enough. Isn’t it a mistake to add other issues that can’t be proved, because it could play into his hands? If it’s true, I hope good evidence does come out.

I don’t think there was any doubt you existed. Your voice was on the programme and the interviewer was talking to you. This is a very different situation.
This guy is probably legit but we can’t just assume that.

Has anybody been able to verify that Marko Petrović exists and is a relative? Toward the end of his message he says “Jehovah provide his blessing” which possibly complicates motivation but doesn’t necessarily invalidate the information. On the other hand he talks about “jehovah Witness elder priest” which doesn’t sound like JW language. Whatever else, making sure the named person exists would seem to be a necessary first step.

I don’t think I’m in the right Facebook groups, and again Reddit is a nightmare to navigate.
How much worse can this get? I knew he was a pretty nasty character, but I am really shocked.
