JoinedI attended meetings and went out in field service with my mother from about age 15 until 22. I never got baptized, though I tried. The elders said I wasn't ready.(Thanks elders!) I stopped going to the meetings because I wanted to do things that normal people do without feeling guilty. Even though I wasn't going to the KH, I still believed most of what JW's taught. That changed a couple of years ago when I overcame my fear of "apostates" and started reading the real truth about the organization.
