  They barely mention Jesus anymore for god's sake. I'd say 3/4 of the talk is focused on the identity of the 144,000......

  Their other main focus is why NOBODY should be partaking because the 144,000 is almost toast.

  Last year (had to go long story) a person who just studying came. I am sure they were primed at the home study what was going to happen. Then they had to sit...ZZZZZZ...through the talk. When the emblems were passed she reached out for them to take.. NO..NO..NO was the frantic under the breath comment given by her mortified study conductor. The lady jerked back as if some one had struck her. I wonder if she will go again this year??

  BTW, a number of years ago I actually had a Circuit Overseer tell me that if I no longer accepted the 1914 bit then I should go preach what I do believe is true. Instead of appreciating the dilemma that's been created for me due to the WTS's mistaken concept, I think his sole intent was to challenge me to go preach, even as he was having to.

  I got the same argument from a CO years ago. I would not accept the then new DF'ing rules in 1982. I was encouraged to "wait on jehovah" and put all doubts out of my mind.They said I should continue to "preach" but just not in the areas that troubled me. Instead I QUIT...B.S. Since Garybuss did not say this in his post I will .They are BOOK PUBLISHERS. They make their money selling books!!! They don't really give a s*it what you believe as long as the money rolls in. Do you doubt this...LURKER ALERT Go to your PO and tell him you no longer feel right about asking for donations at the door..."received free give free". Tell him you have talked to others about this issue. Come back here with your results..

  Why is the Governing Body so Thoughtlessly Cruel?

  i have wondered why the governing body is callous when it comes to the rules they make that effect millions of their followers.

  they enforce their ban on blood transfusions with the threat of disfellowshipment which has caused untold suffering and death for its members.

  they make shunning mandatory of any member that doesn?t agree with their interpretation of the bible which destroys families and friendships, and in all this there doesn?t seem to be any let up.

  This question might well be asked of Jehovah, seeing that he is going to tear the wicked ones away from the Earth. (Psalm 37:10,11) On the other hand, millions who are suffering today, may view that as a kindness.

  I would like to ask that to jehovah. "J" Why are you the god of blood,guts and foreskins in the old testament and then changed to the "god of love "in the new testament. Did you reinvent yourself or did Jesus do the job for you?

  What was John SMOKING in Revelation???

  Will you kill only the wicked at "A" or anyone who is not a card carrying member of the JW cult ??

  Will you reserve special judgement for the "apostates"? who just could never see the "new light"? and especially those who post on JWD?? You wouldn't kill a lurker would you???

  There are quite a few good guys over there who want to see the Watchtower shrink up to their bikinis and run around the streets in shame. The Witnesses are slowly dying over there like they are here, eat your heart out Ted Jaracz!

  Randy....I would like to see them die out but "god forbid" that we would ever see them running around with bikinis in shame.

  (yes I know what you meant)

  I wish they would die out completely but in the short term the shame of their child abuse policy MUST CHANGE.

  So, if you find Bill's methods not to your taste, keep in mind the cold hearted, arrogant cult he is exposing.

  Bill has done a super job of getting public attention focused on the "sins" of the WT ..They will be forced to change their policies because of him and others like him such as Joe & Barbara Anderson. The lawsuits have them squirming and backing into a corner.

  I wish Bill,Joe and Barbara every success as they continue to fight for the children.There are many others working for the same goals behind the scenes and I give them credit and applaud their efforts also.

  The WT has continued to modify their stance on blood to the point is is only recognized by another Pharisee.

  In the begining the stand was..NO BLOOD...Then the WT found that to get missionaries to other countries they had to take a vaccination that had a "little blood" in it.They modified their stand on blood,not because the bible had changed but because it suited their business interests.

  The blood issue has gone downhill ever since to the point where you need HLC members with you just to point out what is O.K. (today) and what is not.They would like to drop the whole thing and they will in time but meanwhile people keep dying for them...

  Where did this idea come from?? Blood is only given after carefully checking blood types. NO ACCIDENT VICTIM has ever been taken into hospital with a blood IV.
  

  Transfusion is a serious business. I would only take one if I thought it was medically necessary and gave me the BEST options to preserve my life. Blood can kill me..blood can save me..BUT the option should always be mine. The WT takes that away from me and uses the club of DA'ing to enforce their rules.

  Years ago they would use articles like yours to prove their point. As the articles proved to be poorly thought out or false they fell back on the last line of defence..god told us not to take blood.

  Now many blood products are approved including such blood products as polyheme and hemopure (cows blood).This is one of the most f**ked up doctrines that the WT supports so don't look for much approval around here.

  Does "Loyalty" work both ways in the Org?

  as jw's we are asked to be "loyal" to the organization.

  all this means is, say "yes" to everything they ask, and believe everything they teach without questioning.. how about the jw organization, are they loyal to their members?

  if a brother of sister falls sick, loses a job, becomes invalid, will the jw organization show loyalty to that person and help out?
