I have great respect for the team that worked so hard putting all that material togeher. It takes many good sharp minds working behind the scenes to help the stars prepare their material. Lots of hours put into preparation by many people. What an investment into the care of children and victims. You have to have passion to commit to that.

Ohiamfree: Nah i reckon the blonde isn't on JW side, she has pulled quite a few confused faces when material has been shown challenging comments from defendants.
I am sure she is a WT lawyer. One of the many news articles that i have read had a photo of her walking beside Mr. Horley down a sidewalk together. Trust me. Lawyers do not walk with witnesses unless they represent them.
Blondie is coaching some of the witnesses - giving encouraging smiles. That is another reason she is seated in the middle. She has a clear line of sight to the hot seat. That's her womanly role. Give support to the WT witnesses. It is right in their manual.

She slipped. She said "we" when refering to the process...I am pretty sure she did. Right at the end. On one of her fumbles with Justice McClelland. Stewart and him were playing pass the ball with her and she was dropping it left riight and center.

It actually played out like some kind of horror story at one point. Maybe it is the "treats" I am indulging in. Beer and cheezies, too. The mind control was boggling. Who is in control of her brain??

No calls to the police, no warnings to parents. Nothing to protect more children from being raped and abused. Nothing.

You are absolutely right. FastJehu addresses the same concerns I have - why do the victims and witnesses called before a JW judical hearing not allowed legal representation? The WTS has set up their judical system as though it is a court of law but they don't grant basic human rights to those they are questioning and passing judical judgements on.
Barry: I believe the elders are getting a dose of the same medicine they give out to the people under their care in the congregation because in this royal commission they are treated better than the people under them that have suffered as victims

The Commission is doing what it set out to do. Expose the inadequacies of legal systems. Both those within the institutions that it is investigating and those in the society at large.
This is a serious inadequacy that the Royal commission has successfully uncovered. Now it can be fixed.
There is more to come. It ain't over til the fat lady sings...the hearing has just started rolling for the JWs. But, they sit within a larger institutional problem - they are only one institution of many being investigated.
That is why changes will occur - they JW institutional policies are not the only ones being investigated. This isn't "oh no! JWs are being singled out for persecution!"
It just so happens that the JW religion is coming out of this inquiry as being woefully inadequate on many different levels.
