over the weekend. What an amazing talent he is on the guitar. He did Classical Gas and amazed the audience. Glad to know he's still rockin at the age of 69!

Oh I agree, he is so talented. It made me sad to see his arrest pic a couple of years ago, for DUI. He was always

one of my favorite writers/singers. Nice to know I'm not the only one of my generation posting here!

Try 33 rpm (albums) or 45 rpm (singles).... I am older than late model dirt and 78 rpm was way before the 60's and 70's.

Glen played sessions for the Beach Boys and lot's of other 60's bands before he was discovered. John Hartford wrote some of Glen's songs..he passed about a year ago...John was a good writer also.

I think Glen Campbell was my fist star crush when I was a little girl.

Glad he's still pickin' & grinnin'

There was a heavy-duty rumor among the JW's in the 1970's that Glen Campbell had become a JW - I remember hearing some Witnesses even refer to him as "Brother Campbell." Then somewhere along the line he came out with a Christmas album and the rumors stopped pretty quickly.

He had the Glen Campell variety hour on major TV network in 1968 usually featured comedian Pat Paulson as a regular, that dates me too.

My mother was a country gal and loved him had all his records. When rhinestone cowboy debuted 1975 i was in the throes of unrelenting ulcerative colitis and the tune cheered me.

His daughter Debby appears with him also. She's very good and sounds a lot like Patsy Cline. She has inherited her father's talent. The best part was his guitar playing. Amazing to say the least.

wow...I am wanting to see him so bad now! It was fun to read all these posts, and find there really are other dinosaurs like me out there! I got to see Crosby Stills & Nash last month at a small outdoor venue; we stood up the entire concert...AWESOME!
