In various countries disturbing reports have surfaced about religious cults that abuse children with sadistic sexual practices and torture. Often, those who report that they were victims of such crimes are treated with incredulity, not compassion.

Unfortunately, the WTBTS has first-hand experience in this matter.
It's all about the wt making sure this topic is brought to their readers and followers , that way it looks like the wt cares and is concerned. If the wt said nothing of the molesting's , then some may become suspicious of the wt never mentioning a word of it in their publications and some may think the wt doesn't care but to print these articles , it makes the wt look to be loving and caring to it's victims.
They as usual are trying to make themselves look clean .
When you think about it , it is rather smart on their part ,in a very sick sense.
Its like car manufacturers telling us they are developing an environmentally friendly car - theyre always developing it, so we think they are nice and cuddly and were happy to go on using fuel burners in the meantime, cos an answer is just around the corner, but it never comes.
